Tom Thumb Cottage
A comfortable and traditional end of terrace cottage, situated in the picturesque village of St Mawes, with superb panoramic views from the Percuil River to St Anthony Head and lighthouse. The cottage is located overlooking St Anthony light house and is within an easy stroll of the famous Tresanton Hotel, just yards away from Tavern Beach and the medieval castle of St Mawes. St Mawes is an idyllic village on the Roseland Peninsula, within easy reach of the Cathedral City of Truro, the Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and many other beautiful gardens. The harbour offers a passenger ferry to Falmouth and the coastal foot path is a few minutes walk towards the castle. Tom Thumb is ideally located for anyone wanting to sail, walk or fish or just enjoy a family holiday on the beach.

A warm welcome is assured in this family owned and run cottage which offers comfortable accommodation for up to four people. Having a paved rear garden in which to relax and enjoy a BBQ whilst taking in the delightful sea views. At the front of the cottage, overlooking Tavern Beach, there is a further seating area which provides the perfect spot to soak up the sun whilst watching the world go by.

The Accommodation
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall with stairs leading off, a fully fitted kitchen, and at the front of the cottage is a light and airy lounge.
Upstairs consists of a large double bedroom, family bathroom, and spacious twin bedded room with fully fitted en-suite shower room.

Facilities and Services
Heating through out is by night storage heaters with an additional fire in the lounge. The kitchen has a range of fitted units, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer and washing machine. In the lounge there is a television.

Miscellaneous
The rental for the cottage includes electricity, heating, bed linen and towels, but please bring your own beach towels. Well behaved pets welcome. No smoking is permitted. You may park on the road side in the low season or between 6pm and 8am in high season, at all other times parking is available either in the town car park or on the quay. A short walk to the centre of the village and you will find the post office, local bakery and butcher, chemist and small supermarket. You may choose to eat out in an excellent range of restaurants, pubs, and hotels including the renowned Idle Rocks and Tresanton Hotels.
